Silly plumbers (by alaric)
So I take matters into my own hands. I take the time to FILL THE BATH UP, this putting maximal stress on the fittings beneath, pull the plug, and take the following photo:
The wall you see behind that lot is the wall that has our dishwasher on the other side. The neighbour downstairs says that his ceiling is a big concrete slab, and the water was coming down through a small crack in the room on the other side of that wall.
Looks like we now have quite good evidence that this bath is causing their problem...
