My uncle Roderick produced a fire balloon. We had great fun setting it up, augmenting its internal burner with hot air from a barbecue to get it started, then releasing it. It disappeared until it was too far away to see, still aloft, and hopefully didn't come down on somebody's nice, dry, thatched roof.
